The EU Prime Marketing & Incentives Tech team focuses on building the systems that help millions of European customers discover and engage with Amazon Prime across the web and other digital channels. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will work on designing, implementing and operating services that support Prime marketing campaigns, incentive programs and related video‑game‑focused features. Day‑to‑day activities include writing clean, testable code in one or more programming languages, participating in design discussions, creating architectural diagrams, conducting code reviews, managing source control, overseeing build and deployment pipelines, and ensuring reliability and scalability through testing and operations. You will collaborate with product, data and operations partners to translate requirements into robust solutions while following Amazon’s engineering standards. The role suits engineers with at least three years of professional software development, two years of design or architecture experience, three years of experience in the video‑games industry, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
