Senior Content Designer

Checkout.com · London

Checkout.com is a global fintech company that provides payment infrastructure for online merchants, handling billions of transactions each year. The Senior Content Designer will lead content design for a new product domain, embedding content considerations early in product development. Daily work includes collaborating with designers, product managers, researchers and engineers to clarify problems, shape concepts, and design end‑to‑end user journeys. The role requires creating practical guidance, terminology and reusable content patterns, using research, analytics and testing to improve comprehension and usability. The designer will also explain decisions, build alignment across functions such as technical writing, legal and support, and help evolve the design organization’s ways of working. The position suits candidates with hands‑on experience in content design or UX writing for digital products, who have owned full product journeys, defined reusable content systems, and can simplify complex or regulated topics. Strong research‑driven decision making, clear communication, and proficiency with tools like Figma are essential, while experience in payments, fintech or B2B SaaS is advantageous.
