The Head of Workplace owns real estate and workplace strategy across multiple offices (San Francisco, Toronto, Waterloo, New York, London) and leads the Workplace and Security team. Responsibilities Own portfolio strategy including capacity planning, site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and capital needs. Build business cases balancing employee experience, cost, and flexibility. Contribute to hybrid work policies using data and trends. Design and run in‑office programs that foster community and mission connection. Manage daily facilities operations, food service, maintenance, and cleaning across all offices. Set service standards and KPIs for vendors and enforce them. Oversee workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity. Own operating and capital budgets and partner with Finance on forecasting. Set design standards for new offices, renovations, and major investments. Lead design‑to‑occupancy projects, keeping budget and schedule on track. Hire, coach, and grow the Workplace team. Requirements 7+ years of workplace experience in high‑growth, multi‑office environments. Hands‑on experience with leases, vendors, facilities, and project delivery. Comfort with data analysis, budgeting, and partnership with Finance. Proven ability to build autonomous teams and influence senior leaders. Interest in small business, entrepreneurship, and mission‑driven workplaces.
