About the Role Paytm is India's payment Super App offering comprehensive payment services and financial inclusion solutions. The Onboarding & HR Operations (SG-Grade Vertical) team leads the onboarding function for new joiners, ensuring a seamless, structured, and welcoming start at Paytm. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, and update HRIS/internal trackers for all onboarding activities. Liaise with internal stakeholders such as IT, Payroll/Finance, Hiring Managers, and Facility/Office Admin to ensure smooth onboarding. Track onboarding progress, new‑joiner status, completion of formalities, induction checklist, and provide regular status updates/reports to HR leadership. Act as the first point of contact for new hires for any onboarding‑related queries during their initial days/weeks. Contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding processes, update orientation materials/handbooks, and implement best practices. Requirements MBA in Human Resources is mandatory. 1-3 years relevant experience in HR operations, onboarding, HR coordination, or generalist HR roles. Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable conducting presentations. Proven organizational and team‑management capabilities. Good understanding of HR processes, onboarding, employee lifecycle, HR compliance; familiarity with local labour laws a plus. Hands‑on proficiency with HRIS/onboarding software, MS Office or Google Workspace. High attention to detail, data accuracy, and process orientation. Comfortable working in a 6‑day working structure. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Customer‑service/people‑oriented mindset.
